The short version

Your files never leave your device. Every tool on FilesPad runs inside your web browser. When you resize a photo, compress a PDF or unlock a document, the work is done by your own phone or computer. We do not receive, see or store your files, passwords or the text inside them.

What we do not collect

  • The photos, signatures, PDFs and other files you choose.
  • Passwords you type into the Unlock PDF tool.
  • Names and dates you add to photos.

We do not ask you to create an account, we set no tracking cookies, and we load no third-party scripts, fonts or trackers.

What our hosting provider records

Like every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs when your browser requests a page: your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser type. These logs are used only to keep the site secure and working, and are deleted on the provider's normal schedule.

Payments for Pro

Pro passes are paid through Razorpay. Your card, UPI and bank details go directly to Razorpay and never reach us. We receive the payment ID, amount and status, which we use to create your Pro key and handle refunds. Razorpay's own privacy policy covers what it collects. Your Pro key contains the payment ID and the expiry date, nothing else.

Security and visit statistics

Our site is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks and counts visits (pages viewed, country, which website sent the visitor). These statistics use no cookies and do not identify you. Cloudflare never receives your files, because files are not sent anywhere.

Offline storage on your device

To open faster on your next visit, your browser may store a copy of FilesPad's own pages, styles and scripts, your language choice, and your Pro key if you have one. It never stores your files. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

Changes to this policy

If we add features that change what is collected, such as advertising, we will update this page before they go live and say exactly what changes.
